One of the most beloved and practical bags Chanel ever produced, the Chanel Grand Shopping Tote (GST) in light beige leather with ruthenium hardware is a true collector's piece. Discontinued in 2015, the GST has become increasingly sought-after for its generous proportions, timeless quilted leather, and effortless everyday versatility. This 2009 example is further distinguished by its rare ruthenium hardware — the cool, dark tone creating a quietly sophisticated contrast against the warm neutral leather.
Made in Italy, this structured tote features an open-top design and two chain-and-leather handles with a 24 cm drop. The textile-lined interior includes a zip pocket and a slip pocket, while an exterior slip pocket adds easy-access storage. This piece has undergone a full professional colour restoration by Handbag Therapy, bringing the leather back to an excellent standard — please review all photos carefully.
