Store Supervisor

Full-time · Permanent (On completion of probation period)

 

Designer Exchange is Dublin's leading preloved luxury boutique, specialising in luxury handbags and accessories.  As Store Supervisor you will lead the shop floor team, uphold our exceptional client experience standards, and support the day-to-day running of the business at our Exchequer Street location. This is a genuine stepping-stone role, with a structured path to Store Manager for the right candidate.

•      Supervise and motivate the sales team to deliver a world-class luxury client experience

•      Open and close the store; manage daily till operations and reconciliations

•      Train new team members on how the business operates and how to communicate this clearly and confidently to clients

•      Ensure the team can answer client questions about how Designer Exchange works accurately and professionally

•      Maintain visual merchandising and boutique presentation standards

•      Support stock management and consignment intake in line with company guidelines

•      Act as a key point of escalation for client queries and complaints

•      Deputise for the store manager when required

•      Work closely with all levels of management to assist with mutual development.

•      2+ years experience in a luxury or premium retail environment

•      Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service consistently

•      Strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for luxury fashion and accessories

•      Previous supervisory or team-leading experience an advantage

•      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

•      Knowledge of luxury handbag brands (Hermès, Chanel, Louis Vuitton) desirable

Sales Associate — Full-time

We are looking for a passionate and client-focused Sales Associate to join our shop floor team at Designer Exchange. You will be the first point of contact for our clients, helping them discover and purchase preloved luxury pieces from the world's most coveted brands.

•      Welcome and assist clients with warmth, professionalism, and product knowledge

•      Develop a thorough understanding of how Designer Exchange operates and communicate this clearly and confidently to clients

•      Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently

•      Support consignment intake conversations with clients, explaining our process in line with company guidelines

•      Maintain visual merchandising and housekeeping standards throughout the day

•      Support stock organisation and inventory management

•      Experience in a retail or hospitality customer-facing role

•      A natural ability to connect with clients and deliver a memorable experience

•      Interest in or knowledge of luxury fashion and handbag brands

•      Reliable, well-presented, and a team player

•      Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-value retail environment

We have a fantastic part-time opportunity for a customer-focused individual to join the Designer Exchange team at our Exchequer Street boutique. Ideal for someone with a love of luxury fashion who wants a flexible retail role in the heart of Dublin city centre.

•      Provide a warm and attentive experience to every client who visits the boutique

•      Learn how Designer Exchange works and be able to explain our process confidently to clients

•      Assist with sales, processing transactions, and client queries

•      Support the team with visual merchandising and stock organisation

•      Previous retail or customer service experience preferred

•      Friendly, professional, and well-presented

•      Genuine interest in luxury fashion and accessories

•      Flexible availability including weekends
