Charities need our help more than ever! Unfortunately due to Covid-19 many charities have had to cancel their fundraisers and events the past year. We wanted to try our best through 2020 to help as much as we possibly could. You guys helped us do just that!
March 2020- Irish Cancer Society
When we heard the Irish Cancer Society had to cancel their annual Daffodil Day we thought this would be a good place to start. For the month of March we changed our worldwide shipping fee to €5. We then donated all of your shipping charges directly to the Irish Cancer Society. This amounted to an amazing €665!
August 2020- Irish Cancer Society
In August 2020 our amazing customer and friend Cliodhna Kelly reached out to us. She heard of our fundraising for the Irish Cancer Society for Daffodil Day and she wanted to help. She very generously donated her Chloe Faye Handbag worth €1,590. We set up a GoFundMe page where our customers donated a minimum of €5 to be entered into the competition to win this Chloe Handbag. By the end of the month we had raised an outstanding €3,076 for The Irish Cancer Society.
November 2020- Pieta House
Pieta House is another charity close to our hearts. We fundraised for Pieta in 2018 and 2019 at our Pop Up Events in The Radisson Hotel. As we went into our third lock down in Ireland and many were struggling with their mental health we decided to support Pieta House again. We picked up your trade ins from your house for free. For each house we collected from we donated €5 to Pieta House. By the end of December we had raised €1,200 for this amazing charity.
We hope to do more charity work through out 2021 and we will keep you in the loop on our plans and events. We can't thank you guys enough for your contribution to these figures. In total we raised just under €5,000 for the two charities.
